SZIDF 2019 Gadget Design Award

Also this year, SIDA, the Shenzhen Industrial Design Profession Association, and Desall.com, invite you all to design the official gadget/souvenir for all the attendees of the Shenzhen International Industrial Design Fair 2019. SIDA and Desall invite you all to design the official for all the participants of the 7th edition of the Shenzhen International Industrial Design Fair (SZIDF) taking place on November 03rd-05th 2019. The gadget/souvenir shall be a NON-technological product. The winner will be selected by a jury consisting of high-level representatives of SIDA and Desall. The official award ceremony will be held in Shenzhen on the night of Nov 3rd 2019. The winner will be given the opportunity to showcase her/his own works at the fair with a free stand and all travel and accommodation expenses covered by the organisation, including other services. All projects will be evaluated by a jury consisting of high-level representatives of SIDA and Desall according to several criteria as specified in detail in the brief. Participation is free of charge and open to any age or nationality. SKYHIVE 2019 SKYSCRAPER CHALLENGE

The SKYHIVE 2019 Skyscraper Challenge is the second annual architecture competition which searches out the latest and greatest designs for an iconic high rise structure. Participants of the SKYHIVE Challenge are tasked with creating a concept for a state-of-the-art tower that breaks the norm.

ABU DHABI FLAMINGO OBSERVATION TOWER INTERNATIONAL ARCHITECTURE COMPETITION

The Al Wathba Wetland Reserve in Abu Dhabi is home to a uniquely diverse ecosystem. The artificial wetlands were created in the heart of the Middle East, on the East of Abu Dhabi island, the capital city of the United Arab Emirates. Covering a total area of 5 km2, the reserve is comprised of wetlands, salt flats knowns as sabkhas, and fossilized sand dunes.

GAUJA NATIONAL PARK FOOTBRIDGE – INTERNATIONAL ARCHITECTURE COMPETITION

Spanning over 917 km2, the Gauja National Park in Vidzeme is the largest national park in Latvia, a country known for its low population density and vast areas of natural forests. The park takes its name from the Gauja River Valley and was one of Latvia’s first national parks, established in 1973, but with a history of tourism supposedly dating back to the 19th century.
